Konica Minolta Launches Bizhub C353P

Konica Minolta has recently announced the arrival of Bizhub C353P, a colour laser printer aimed at offices and small workgroups. The features offered are currently unparalleled amongst other manufacturers.

The printer carries itself around pretty well with a small footprint which is a major consideration among businesses these days. Their concept called "360 degrees is doing the rounds which basically implies that the printer looks good from all angles. The manufacturer states that the printer can be placed in the center of a room and still looks good from every angle possible. The design has been borrowed from InfoLine style and includes a column of LEDs on one side for across-the-room, at-a-glance status of paper level.

C353 leverages upon Simitri HD Color Polymerized Toner to achieve quality prints and runs on Emperon Print System for ultimate print control working as a standalone and is compatible with PCL6 and PS3 emulations as well as a native XPS driver.

Claimed print speeds seem unrealistic at 35 pages per minute for both monochrome and colour.

It can stock 1150 sheets of paper at any given point of time. This is thus far the largest we have seen in this segment of printers. Stapling, colour proofing and folding are also offered as standard options.

The Bizhub C353P is capable of printing in duplex automatically which is probably the most sought feature these days after the cost considerations of course. A unique display mounted on the printer displays the incoming prints and the outputs delivered.

With a monthly recommended volume of 100,000 prints, the Konica Minolta Bizhub C353P is more than handy for bigger offices and can be an asset for most organization
